Ricia Neura
has been painting professionally
for 26 years and teaching for
25 years. She received a B.S.
Degree from Birmingham Southern
College in Fine Arts. Ricia learned
to paint as a child watching her
mother who was a talented artist.
Ricia trained in watercolors with
Wayne Spradly, however her portraits
have been primarily oil on canvas.
Her works have been purchased
by individuals and corporations
including SouthTrust, BE&K, National
Bank of Commerce and others. She
has received numerous awards and
is a member of the American Society
of Portrait Artists. Ricia lives
in Birmingham with her daughter,
Carter.
